Job Title: Director of Client Relations (Business Development Lead)Reports To: Executive LeadershipLocation: Hybrid (Headquarters + Regional Travel)Compensation: $100,000 $120,000 annually + corporate benefitsPosition OverviewSecurity Incorporated is seeking a results-driven Director of Client Relations to lead all business development and growth initiatives. While client engagement is a component of the role, the primary function is to drive revenue generation, expand market presence, and secure new contracts across government and commercial sectors. This individual will own the full lifecycle of business development, from opportunity identification and capture strategy through proposal submission and contract award. The Director will also lead a multidisciplinary support team, including a Graphics Designer, Pricing Specialist, Capture Specialist, Social Media & Website Administrator, and Technical Writer, ensuring all growth-related functions are aligned, efficient, and execution-focused.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Growth LeadershipDevelop and execute usiness development strategies aligned with corporate growth objectivesIdentify, qualify, and pursue federal, state, municipal, and commercial opportunitiesBuild and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities with defined win strategiesLead go/no-go decisions and prioritize pursuits based on probability of win and strategic valueCapture & Proposal ManagementDirect capture planning, including competitive analysis, teaming strategies, and positioningOversee the full proposal lifecycle to ensure compliance, quality, and competitivenessCollaborate with pricing and technical resources to produce winning, cost-effective proposalsEnsure alignment with RFP requirements, including staffing, technical approach, and past performanceClient Engagement & Market PositioningEstablish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and procurement officialsRepresent the company at industry events, pre-bid meetings, and client engagementsTranslate client needs and market intelligence into actionable pursuit strategiesTeam Leadership & ExecutionLead and manage the business development team, setting clear expectations and accountabilityCoordinate cross-functional support to ensure timely, high-quality deliverablesFoster a performance-driven culture centered on responsiveness, ownership, and resultsMarketing & Strategic OversightOversee branding, digital presence, and development of marketing collateralTrack KPIs, pipeline performance, and revenue forecasts; report regularly to leadershipContinuously refine strategies based on data, market trends, and competitive insightsQualificationsBachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred5+ years of experience in business development leadership (security or related services preferred)Proven track record of winning government and/or commercial contractsStrong knowledge of RFP processes, pricing strategies, and procurement environmentsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent pursuitsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary of $100,000 $120,000Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, holidays and Paid Time OffProfessional development and performance-based incentivesPosition ImpactThis role is central to Security Incorporateds growth strategy.
