Our goal is to provide compassionate and quality medicine while striving to make an impact in our community and treat our patients/clients like family.Who We're Looking For:We are currently looking to hire either full-time or part-time Veterinary Assistants to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.Campus Veterinary Clinic aims to provide owners with sound, honest choices for their pets and to provide our patients with excellent and compassionate medical care. We strive to give our customers the best-personalized service possible and to create a friendly, professional work environment for our awesome staff!The hourly pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00, this varies depending on experience, education, certifications, and location.Who You Are: 3+ years clinical experience as a veterinary assistant or receptionistKnowledge of industry tools and equipmentPassion for working with animals and their ownersExperience with proper animal handling and restraintUnderstand the importance of excellent communication and organizational skillsObtain accurate and thorough medical historiesPerform basic exam proceduresSkilled in venipuncture (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)Able to perform digital radiology (X-ray) including positioningComfortable with monitoring general anesthesia and surgical assistance preferredLaboratory skills including microscope (ear and fecal cytology); IDEXX in-house laboratoryExcellent client communication/educationAdaptable to working well with current doctors and team membersWhat Makes Us DifferentReferral program – join our team, bring your friends, and get paid!
