Competitive Research AnalystThis position is for an analyst focused on competitive intelligence and market benchmarking. The primary responsibility involves creating competitive and market insight reports for quarterly reviews of retail media networks, including their capabilities, methodologies, and performance. This role supports the strategic positioning of the organization within the retail media landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver comprehensive competitive and market insight reports.Conduct deep-dive analyses of retail media networks to benchmark capabilities and performance.Utilize public competitive intelligence sources and third-party research platforms for data gathering.Leverage AI-enabled market insights tools to synthesize information.Perform ad-hoc analysis using internal data systems as required.Required QualificationsA background in market research and competitive intelligence is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in reporting, structuring information, and synthesizing insights. Beginner to intermediate SQL proficiency is necessary for ad-hoc benchmarking. Familiarity with cloud data platforms like GCP or BigQuery and their data structures is also required. Deep research experience may be considered in lieu of advanced SQL skills for exceptional candidates.Work EnvironmentThe candidate must be based in a location that supports potential conversion to a full-time role.
