INTAKE COORDINATOR
The Business Office is an integral part of TherapyWorks and their daily operations. All Business Office employees are expected to be aware of proper procedures and protocols involved in working with patients/family members and other members of the TherapyWorks staff. All employees should be mindful of how their actions affect the daily operations of TherapyWorks, and in turn, TherapyWorks’ ability to provide the best service possible to its client. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of new patient referrals in a timely manner as outlined in TherapyWorks Policy & Procedures, intake on new clients, verifying all insurance benefits, obtaining authorization for each client, scheduling evaluations among other related duties.
Education or Equivalent: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in billing and collections in a medical office setting preferred.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements: Raintree, knowledge of Commercial and Medicaid insurance billing, Outlook, Windows, 10 key, general understanding of Medical Terminology.
Physical/Mental Requirements: Ability to lift 10-30 lbs. Bending, squatting, kneeling may be required.
