1st Class Pipe Fitter

Job Description Venture Dynamics is currently seeking 1st Class Pipe Fitters in Mobile, AL and Pascagoula, MS. They will be responsible for the layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems used in industrial, commercial, and residential applications. This role requires advanced technical knowledge and leadership in guiding apprentices and less experienced pipe fitters.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and specificationsMeasure, cut, thread, bend, and install pipe using hand and power toolsInstall piping systems for steam, water, gas, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process systemsAssemble and secure piping using welding, brazing, soldering, or mechanical fittingsPerform pressure testing, leak detection, and system inspectionsDiagnose system issues and complete repairs as neededEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and standardsSupervise and mentor apprentices and junior pipe fittersCoordinate work with supervisors, engineers, and other tradesMaintain tools, equipment, and a safe, clean work areaQualifications & ExperienceJourneyman / 1st Class Pipe Fitter certification or equivalentProven experience in industrial or commercial pipe fittingStrong knowledge of piping systems, materials, valves, and fittingsWelding experience preferred (as applicable)Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionSkills xaygatp & CompetenciesStrong mechanical and technical aptitudeExcellent attention to detailProblem-solving and troubleshooting skillsPhysical ability to meet job demandsStrong communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to safety and quality workmanshipWorking ConditionsMay include work at heights, in confined spaces, or outdoorsPhysical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periodsOvertime or shift work may be required
