This role is responsible for maintaining and restoring hard floor surfaces through stripping, waxing, buffing, and general floor care. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality results and maintaining a safe, clean environment.20 hours weekly: Monday - Friday, 5-9pmPay: $ 17.00 hourlyYou must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and be able to a pass drug test and background check.If you have experience in housekeeping, environmental services, commercial cleaning, or janitorial services we encourage you to apply!Key ResponsibilitiesStrip, wax, and refinish hard floor surfaces (VCT, tile, etc.)Operate and maintain floor care equipment (buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers)Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floorsEnsure proper use of chemicals and follow safety proceduresIdentify and report maintenance or safety issuesFollow work schedules and complete assigned tasks efficientlyMaintain equipment in clean and working conditionAll other work, as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience in floor care, especially stripping and waxing, preferredKnowledge of floor machines and cleaning chemicalsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detailAbility to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periodsReliable transportation and punctuality requiredPreferred SkillsExperience with commercial or industrial floor careKnowledge of different floor types and finishesBasic troubleshooting of equipmentAdditional Information / BenefitsAbove average pay rates for Janitorial IndustryFlexibility in schedulesOpportunities for AdvancementPerformance Bonuses401KPaid VacationPTOBenefits: Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, 401K/403b Plan, Special Incentive PlansThis job reports to the Area ManagerThis is a Part-Time position 2nd Shift.Number of Openings for this position: 2
