Data Engineer – Ab Initio / GCP (BigQuery) 📍 Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite) 💼 Contract – 9 Months 💰 $60/hourWe’re supporting a major client on a large-scale data migration programme and are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong Ab Initio and GCP (BigQuery) expertise to join the team.🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build ETL graphs using Ab InitioDevelop and utilise Ab Initio components to generate on-premise data filesOrchestrate and manage data pipelines using DAGsLoad and optimise data workflows into BigQuery (GCP)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data migration and integration✅ Required ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Ab Initio (ETL development, graph design)Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQueryExperience building and managing data pipelines / DAGs (e.g., Airflow or similar)Solid understanding of data migration and transformation processesAbility to work in a hybrid environment with onsite presence in Charlotte⭐ Nice to HaveExperience with large-scale data migration programmesFamiliarity with enterprise data environments and on-prem to cloud transitions📅 Contract DetailsInitial 9-month contractCompetitive rate of $60/hourHybrid working model (1–2 days onsite in Charlotte)
