Donut Baker
Job TypeFull-time, Part-time Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Donut Baker to join our early morning production team. This role is responsible for preparing, frying, and finishing a variety of donuts while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. Weekends are required. Key Responsibilities:Mix, scale, and prepare brioche dough for donut production Cut and shape dough into various donut styles Proof and fry all types of donuts to proper specifications Glaze, fill, and finish donuts with consistency and attention to detail Perform daily fryer maintenance, including filtering and cleaning Maintain proper oil levels and monitor fryer performance Follow opening procedures and complete daily prep lists Prepare ingredients and items for production (e.g., egg wash, fruit cutting, fillings) Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines Requirements Qualifications:Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred (but not required) Ability to work overnight/early morning shifts starting at 2:00 AM or 4:00 AM Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of food safety practices Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Skills:Experience working with brioche or enriched doughs Familiarity with commercial fryers and bakery equipment Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic Physical RequirementsThis Baker position is a physically demanding position. The employee will be on their feet for most of the shift and are expected to left heavy objects. Salary Description$15 - $20 an hour
