To connect with us, visitwww.usatodayco.comThe SEO Service Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing strategic execution, operational performance, and client satisfaction of SEO campaigns. This role ensures delivery excellence by serving as the primary escalation point for client and internal issues while maintaining accountability across implementation teams.The ideal candidate combines deep technical SEO knowledge with strong operational discipline and the ability to bring structure, urgency, and clarity to high-volume environments.Key Responsibilities:Serves as the primary escalation point for complex client and internal SEO issues across offshore-supported campaignsManages and resolves client escalations with urgency, professionalism, and clear communication in timely and compliant mannerOversee and audits SEO campaign quality to ensure technical accuracy, best practice adherence, and process complianceLeads optimization projects that require advanced diagnosis beyond standard execution workflowsEstablishes, documents, and refines implementation instructions and SOPs to ensure consistent offshore deliveryOwns quality assurance frameworks across metadata, technical fixes, content deployment, internal linking, and structured data implementationOversees KPI collection and tracking across the portfolio ensuring performance data integrity and reporting accuracy in order to drive continuous improvement of SEO service execution.Analyzes KPI fluctuations and trends, determining and communicating clear root cause analysis and recommends corrective actions including but not limited to:Collaborates with managers to reinforce accountability and performance standards across offshore teamsDevelops and maintains training materials to improve implementation accuracy, efficiency, and qualitySupports onboarding and upskilling initiatives for offshore SEO specialistsBuilds and maintains a continuous improvement roadmap for the SEO service model and execution processesPartners with client-facing teams to help navigate performance volatility, algorithm changes, and technical challengesMaintains documentation of audits, escalations, and systemic process improvementsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:4+ years of experience in technical SEO, campaign management, or SEO operationsStrong understanding of on-page, technical SEO, and multi-location or enterprise SEO environmentsProficiency and expertise using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or similarAbility to interpret KPIs and clearly articulate performance drivers, declines, and anomaliesDemonstrated experience handling client escalations and sensitive performance issuesStrong process-oriented mindset with the ability to build scalable frameworksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and strong quality control standardsAbility to operate with urgency while maintaining composure under pressureOwnership mentality with accountability for portfolio-level outcomesPossess strong Project Management skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience managing large portfolios (40+ accounts or multi-location programs)Background in operational process design or service quality managementExperience building training programs or internal knowledge basesExposure to franchise or enterprise SEO environmentsExperience presenting performance insights to senior internal stakeholdersEscalation Management: Resolves high-priority issues decisively while protecting client trust and delivery integrityProcess Governance: Establishes structured workflows and enforces quality standards across offshore teamsQuality Control Authority: Identifies systemic gaps through audits and strengthens execution consistencyData Accountability: Owns KPI tracking and confidently explains performance trends and fluctuationsOperational Leadership: Drives continuous improvement across high-volume SEO campaignsClient-Focused Urgency: Responds quickly and effectively to client concerns, demonstrating ownership and excellence#LI-REMOTE#LOCALiQ#LI-LLThe annualized base salary for this role will range between $57,000 and $105,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience.
