Business Analyst Work Type: Remote (WI residency required)Onsite: Madison, WI – once per monthDuration: Through 6/30/2026 (extension likely)Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CSTRate: $35-40/hourInterview: MS Teams video (1+ rounds)Role SummarySeeking a Business Analyst / Consultant III to support Medicaid / MMIS healthcare systems, with focus on adult long-term care (LTC) provider enrollment, system project oversight, data analysis, and policy support in a regulated environment.Required Experience 3–5 years as a Business Analyst supporting Medicaid, MMIS, or healthcare systems Experience in one or more areas:Provider Management Eligibility & Enrollment Claims & Encounters Benefit Plans Strong experience with:System Project Management Data Analysis & Reporting Cross-functional Coordination Key ResponsibilitiesProvide operational administration for LTC provider enrollment systems Lead SDLC activities: requirements gathering, design review, UAT, and production verification Identify and resolve system defects, data inconsistencies, and operational issues Execute ad-hoc and scheduled data analysis using SAS, OnBase, and EDW/DAR Analyze state and federal regulations, Medicaid policy, and administrative codes Monitor data trends and utilization patterns and deliver actionable insights Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners Prepare and present reports, dashboards, charts, and leadership summaries Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Medicaid MMIS systems (interChange, OnBase, EDW/DAR, CARES) Experience with business requirements development and SDLC Advanced skills in Excel, SAS, Tableau, or similar analytics tools Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare data standards, and compliance Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Ability to work independently in a matrixed environment Nice to HaveCBAP certification Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills #INDTSPeoplelink LLC, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of ‘linking’ communities through employment.
