Conducts assigned management duties during scheduled shifts to ensure comfort fresh food is served with Genuine Hospitality delivering a uniquely better guest experience. Essential Functions• Maintains projected costs and labor during scheduled shifts• Manages through "hands on" supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to, occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties• Ensures staff is following established recipes and procedures• Helps to control the guest flow and monitors ticket times• Creates and maintains a safe and healthy work environment• In conjunction with all management, enforces compliance with all employment policies in area of responsibility• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales• 100% table visits (if applicable)• Ensures culture and core values, passion, partnership, integrity and fun with purpose• Maintains proper uniform and image standards at all times• Ensures cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests is maintained at all times• Follows TIPS and OSHA guidelines during a shift.• Works during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of House depending on position• Maintains a safe, fun, and clean work environment for the staffCompetencies• Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions• Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word• Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely• Ethical - Ability to demonstrate, conduct, and conform to a set of values and accepted standards• Honesty / Integrity - Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace• Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines• Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situationsWork Environment
