Any information collected there is subject to their terms and privacy notice.At Oxbox (https://www.oxboxhvac.com/) and through our partnership with Trane Technologies TM , we provide affordable and durable home-heating and cooling solutions.Job Summary :The Technical Training and Support Specialist serve as the technical expert, supporting the Oxbox distributor network, advising distributors’ technician support staff, business partners and customers on the Oxbox product line, installation and servicing best practices. This role is responsible for the development and training of HVAC technicians, including traveling to HVAC distribution centers, creating training webinars and virtual training modules to train technical support staff on the Oxbox brand of HVAC equipment, emphasizing it’s durability, reliability and overall excellence. This aspect of the role includes a sales component, persuading distributors on the benefits of the Oxbox brand.Where Is The WorkThis position is designated as remote and will involve up to 60% travel. We are considering candidates from any location within the continential United States.What You Will DoTechnical Expertise : Serve as the technical expert within the distributors service team Training and Development: Train and develop distribution service technician support teams who in turn train contractor service technicians performing the repair, retrofit, replacement, maintenance, start-up, in warranty service, general service of customer’s HVAC equipment & systems Training Plans: Develop training plan for distributor service technicians based on assessment results, evolving the action plan to identify and meet training needs of distributors’ technicians to meet Oxbox HVAC solution requirements Hands-On Training: Execute hands-on and on-site training to distribution centers to train technical support staff on Oxbox brand of HVAC equipment Trusted Advisor Role : Cultivate strong working relationships within all organizational levels of current distributors, facilitate needed technical training, and integrate customer goals Consultation: Provide knowledge and consultation in developing HVAC system related solutions for technical problems to distributor technical team Information Dissemination: Responsible for disseminating service bulletin’s, best practice, legislative, environmental, and health & safety information to technicians, associates & customers when required. Productivity Management: Manage productivity by generating parts reports and optimizing warranty costs What You Will BringTechnical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of air conditioning theory and practical experience coupled with extensive knowledge of HVAC service industry practices and related legislation, including health & safety and environmental compliance. Hands-On Experience: Ability to perform standard service technicians independently (maintenance, repairs, advanced services, etc.) Effective Communication : Ability to present subject matter virtually and in person. Technical Proficiency: Strong computer usage skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Salesforce. Organizational Skills : Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Personal Attributes: Agility, self-motivation, goal orientation, and resilience. Team Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment with diverse members of different backgrounds and experiences to achieve business results. Home Office: Must have private home office availability and reliable high-speed internet service. Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%. Base Pay Range: Starts at $75,000 - $100,000 based on experience.Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages.
