Service Technician

Service TechnicianOur client is seeking a hands-on and mechanically inclined Service Technician to join their growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with mechanical or HVAC experience who enjoy working with industrial equipment and solving complex problems. The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric motors, pumps, and related equipment both in-shop and at customer locations. This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills through hands-on training in a supportive, team-oriented environment.ResponsibilitiesDisassemble, inspect, clean, and repair electric motors, pumps, and related equipmentPerform detailed evaluations and generate reports outlining findings and recommended repairsReassemble equipment, conduct final testing, and complete finishing processes such as paintingAssist with machining custom parts and components for repairsPerform tasks such as shaft machining, sleeve installation, metallizing, and welding repairsTravel to customer sites to remove, install, and rebuild motors and pumpsPerform on-site troubleshooting and repairs as neededConduct laser alignment and dynamic balancing of rotating equipmentPerform vibration analysis to identify and resolve mechanical issuesClean parts using steam cleaning, sandblasting, and oven bake-out processesPrepare components for repair and reassemblyQualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or trade school certification preferredMinimum 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience (preferred)Experience in HVAC, industrial maintenance, or related mechanical fields is highly transferableStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to use tools, equipment, and machinery safely and effectivelyComfortable working both in a shop environment and in the fieldMUST have a valid DL and a clean MVRBenefits/CompensationFulltime- Monday-FridayFirst shift (7am - 3:30pm)$25.00/hr based on experienceTemp to hire positionWeekly pay while employed through Career ConceptsBenefits available while employed through Career ConceptsLocationGlenshaw, PAAbout Career Concepts Staffing Services, Inc.Career Concepts is the leading locally owned staffing company in Western Pennsylvania and New York, dedicated to connecting top-tier talent with exceptional opportunities.
