Diesel Mechanic

Job Description Tornado Bus Company and El Expreso Bus Company is looking for Diesel Mechanics. Responsible for performing thorough inspections and related repair on motor coaches. Transporting buses to external shops. This particular position requires to rescue buses from other locations. Must always be in compliance with FMCSA regulations.Routine servicing and overhauling of all diesel or gas enginesInspecting the engines and detecting technical malfunctionsSpecializing in repairing and maintaining parts of engine, such as fuel injections systems, emission controls systems, and timing systems.Disassemble and overhaul internal combustion engines, pumps, generators, transmissions, clutches, and differential units.Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment and diagnose malfunctions, using test instrumentsRewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels.Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valvesFollow our stipulated standard industry safety regulations and standards of workingFuel buses when requiredRoad test buses to detect malfunctionsTransport units to external locations or pick upRescue busesOther duties as required. xmcpwfuEXPERIENCE:Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.3 - 5 years of job-related experienceEDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalent; additional training beyond high schoolLICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS:CDLPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Heavy - Exerting 60-100 lbs. occasionally, 25-60 lbs. frequently, or up to 10-20 constantly.Benefits Medical Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Aflac Life Insurance 401k
