Mitigation & Contents ManagerThe Mitigation & Contents Manager is responsible for leading and supporting mitigation and contents operations across our South Atlanta and Central Georgia offices. This role ensures water, fire, mold, and contents restoration projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with Paul Davis standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position serves as a key link between mitigation, contents, and reconstruction teams while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
Lead mitigation and contents teams across both SATL and CLGA locations
Support staffing, scheduling, and resource planning to meet workload demands
Train, coach, and develop team members to ensure technical excellence and performance standards
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Conduct regular team meetings to align goals and address operational needs
Operational Oversight
Manage daily scheduling and coordination of mitigation and contents projects
Review scopes of work, documentation, and estimates for accuracy and completeness
Ensure projects are completed on time and in compliance with Paul Davis and IICRC standards
Oversee equipment usage, inventory control, and maintenance tracking
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Office Staff to ensure smooth job flow
Contents Operations
Coordinate contents pack-outs, cleaning, storage, and deliveries
Ensure proper documentation, inventory tracking, and secure storage
Support the contents team in handling customer belongings with care and professionalism
Review job files and billing documentation prior to closeout
Customer Experience
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during mitigation and contents projects
Provide clear communication, manage expectations, and deliver a positive customer experience
Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, property owners, and internal teams
Address concerns promptly with professionalism and empathy
Quality Control & Compliance
Ensure compliance with IICRC, OSHA, and Paul Davis quality standards
Review job files for documentation accuracy prior to billing
Assist with job costing, profitability reviews, and operational performance tracking
Enforce safety procedures and field compliance
Qualifications35+ years of experience in mitigation, restoration, or related field
IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) strongly preferred
Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Experience with restoration software such as RMS or MICA preferred
Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
