Commercial Cabinet Specialist

Position Summary The Commercial Cabinet Specialist is a skilled artisan specializing in the design, construction, and installation of custom cabinetry for commercial settings.  The Commercial Cabinet Specialist will combine technical expertise with an eye for aesthetics to create functional and custom cabinet solutions tailored to commercial customer needs.  This position will be required to consider the intended purposes of each cabinet job, along with clients' style preferences, when drafting and estimating cabinet layouts for commercial settings.  To be successful in this role, you must be a multitasker with a personality to provide outstanding customer service. Invariably, a successful commercial cabinet designer will demonstrate initiative within the confines of the commercial clients' wishes.  Key Responsibilities Responsible for working with and communicating with commercial builders.Act as the primary point of contact for each project and serve as a liaison all the way through production.   Formulating estimates for commercial clients based on each individual project and responsible for price adjustments through project completion.  Creating and drawing/designing a plan (via software) which details the layout and appearance of all installations.  Accurate recordkeeping, billing responsibilities, and organizational skills.   Required Qualifications Minimum requirements a candidate must have. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Preferred: Ability to read and understand blueprints and floorplans. Required: experience working with commercial clients and projects.Technical skills: ability to learn various computer software programs.  Strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
