Packing Associate

What you’ll be doing As a Packing Associate you will be responsible for a range of activities, including packing of finished goods, labeling boxes and loading trucks. Responsibilities Pack final products in accordance with the specification requirements including count, weigh and/or stack height Apply required labeling and ensure date coding and other necessary information is as expected Tape boxes and palletize them in correct location and sequence Adherence to safety policies Maintain equipment and work area in an orderly manner Other duties/projects as assigned Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution or other industrial setting preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Physical Demands Mobility necessary to perform a variety of tasks that involve standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, possibly reaching chest high and overhead for materials Ability to lift/move/pull up to 50lbs occasionally throughout day Ability to hear adequately on the phone or in person and group settings Must be able to stand and or walk (90% of the day) and consistently reach, bend, and move inside the facility to move product EEO / VETERANS / DISABLED All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
