RemX is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in the Chicago area to instruct customers on our CNC-based high-precision equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical, mechanical, and electrical background, along with excellent communication skills.** $35/hr. - $38/hr. depending on experience plus, full benefits, OT, 401(k) match up to 4%, life insurance, annual bonus, 20 days of PTO, full training provided **The Position:Develop technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills to meet organizational needs.Acts as a crucial liaison between the company and its customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Conduct technical training programs according to organizational requirements.Prepare training materials and execute training sessions, webinars, and workshops.Conduct technical training programs according to organizational requirements.Track and evaluate the results of training programs.Deliver standard and customized training based on customer needs.Maintain proficiency with all company products and ensure the training area is well-organized.Conduct basic and advanced training classes for clients, both in-house and online.Collaborate with the Customer Technical Training Supervisor to update training guidelines and support Help Desk activities.The Company:30+ year-old OEM manufacturing company of high-precision machinery particularly in the CNC, automation, fabrication, and grinding industries.Work/life balance, great company culture, employee focused company that prides themselves in how well they take care of their people.Become part of a team-focused technical group that values collaboration and teamwork.Excellent compensation - $35/hr. - $38/hr. DOEplus, full benefits, OT, 401(k) match up to 4%, life insurance, annual bonus, 20 days of PTO, full training providedQualifications:Professional certification (CPTM preferred) or 2-3 years of related training experience.Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.Willingness to travel 20% for trade shows, client site visits, and future machine installations.Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects.Capable of installing, assembling, and testing new machinery efficientlyExperience as a technical trainer is preferred.
