Project Manager - Supply ChainLocation: Sunnyvale, CAThis position is for a Service Operations Systems project manager. In this role, the PM will independently lead multiple complex Service Systems Operations projects that may span systems, geographies and functions within Service Organization. The scope of the role will encapsulate all disciplines related to Supply Chain and/or Service Channel systems. This is a business transformation role that focuses on delivering software and business process solutions to support Supply Chain & Channel teams. This position will also provide key learning experiences from which an individual can move into different operational leadership roles.DescriptionLead discrete software and/or process projects related to operational strategy, planning and execution that will support Operations to execute best in class Supply Chain and Channel Repair models.Act as liaison for Service Operations to other organizations within A to facilitate major process or systems enhancements (eg. Warehouse management, Finance, Business Process Re-engineering, Business Dev etc.)Work closely with internal stakeholders within Service Operations to drive projects to successful completionAnalyze root cause Service Operations issues to determine gaps and put in place corrective actionsPerform training for new systems and processesWrite business requirements documents (systems requirements) for systems & business enhancementsCreate & deliver effective presentations to executivesAnalyze and revamp daily operational processes to enhance productivityWork closely with the internal process management team to ensure appropriate synchronization of efforts with business teamManage projects from cradle to grave, providing cost-benefit analyses and return on investment analyses, along with project status to the businessAssist with scalability requirements for Operations organization.Determine innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction.Help assess appropriate tools for Materials & Channel organizations.Manage projects to assemble and update all process documentation for Materials & Channels.Coordinate discussions that scope out systems requirements for the next 5-10 yearsKey QualificationsSupply Chain and/or Channels Operations Experience (4-5 years)Experience in managing and leading Service Operations Business ProjectsExperience in gathering & documenting requirements for an Operations Business Projects for either systems or process projectsExperience in developing & delivering a project status presentation to executivesSupply Chain workflow design/process mapping capabilityStrong leadership capabilitiesExperience using Supply chain systems such as SAP, APO, Agile, Oracle, or 09 is an assetImplementing Supply Chain or Channel software solutions is an asset.Experience in forecasting, planning, inventory management, warehousing, and/or channel repair related processes would be considered an asset.
