The Senior People & Culture Partner serves as a strategic and hands‑on partner to site leadership in a manufacturing environment with a predominantly hourly workforce. This role drives business performance through effective people strategies, strong employee relations, frontline leadership coaching, and operational HR excellence.
This position balances strategic influence with daily tactical execution, ensuring compliance, engagement, workforce stability, and capability building across all levels of the organization.
Location: Onsite in Kings Mountain, NC. Reports directly to Plant Manager.
Role Description / Responsibilities
Partner with site leadership to align people strategy with operational goals and drive workforce performance
Advise and lead on employee relations, including investigations, discipline, and conflict resolution
Coach frontline leaders on performance management, attendance, and effective engagement of hourly employees
Support high-volume hiring, workforce planning, and onboarding to ensure staffing stability
Drive performance management and employee engagement initiatives across a shift‑based workforce
Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and safety standards
Monitor key HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, productivity) and implement improvement actions
Partner with operations and safety on incident investigations and workforce‑related risks
Lead or support talent development, succession planning, and training initiatives
Continuously improve HR processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and employee experience
Who are you?
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (required)
Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑SCP, SPHR) preferred
7-10+ years of progressive HR experience
Significant experience supporting hourly‑heavy workforce
Demonstrated success in employee relations, talent management, and leadership coaching
