Facilities Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager Our successful manufacturing client needs an experienced Maintenance Manager for their team! This full-time, direct-hire role will ensure all equipment functions smoothly and building and grounds are properly maintained.Responsibilities of the Maintenance ManagerManage, lead, and integrate workflow of Facilities and Maintenance staffMotivate and empower team members to deliver results against established goals and prioritiesContinuously improve the operation and drive innovation, including utilization of new technology and automation Collaborate with key partners to develop annual plans, budgets, headcount and labor plan, etc. Deliver a preventative maintenance program that optimizes production machinery performance and availabilityMaintain heating and HVAC systems, buildings, grounds, and equipment Manage vendor relationships; monitor and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality servicesSupervise contractors (security, cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, locksmiths, etc.)Maintain stock supply of equipment parts Champion EHS objectives Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications of the Maintenance Manager Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline required, MBA preferred Minimum 5-8 years of experience in plant maintenance/facilities managementAbility to prioritize multiple tasks, effectively delegate, and supervise personnel in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated commitment to teamwork and internal client service orientationEffective written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, machinery, and mechanical tradesStrong analytical skills and in depth understanding of statistical probabilityProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); AutoCAD a plusAvailable for 24/7 requests related to all shift activitiesUnderstanding of food technology preferredLean/Six Sigma Certification a plusWe look forward to hearing from you about this Maintenance Manager opportunity!
