Job #: 2073 Pay Rate: 40.00-40.00 $/hour Job type Location: Torrance, CA Organization Unit: Phenomenex Inc Shift: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm Location: Torrance, CA 100% Onsite We are looking for an Engineer to work with our expert IT Infrastructure Team across the world. You will work with the Global IT Network and Voice engineers at Phenomenex and Danaher Life Science Platform teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Network and Voice Engineer Candidate is responsible for the following Client and analyze regional business requirements Generate, Deploy, and Integrate Network and Voice solutions using standard IT tools and processes. Provide level 3 and 4 engineering support of deployed environment. Engineer and perform complex Infrastructure migrations Keep detailed and accurate technical documentation Work without Direct Oversight Provide Updates to Regional Business and IT Team on Network and Voice Roadmaps Work and Participate with Regional IT Team to Support the Regional Business Core responsibilities include Global Network and Voice Infrastructure Migrations Global Network Design and Architecture Build and Automation of Global Network Infrastructure Global Network Monitoring and Optimization Incident Resolution, Patching, and Performance Tuning Effective and Secure Infrastructure Management Routine Infrastructure cost and efficiency analysis and enhancements Other duties as requested by Manager REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS An applicable degree, program, or industry certification, and 3+ years of experience in a similar role Experience with a wide array of Cisco Equipment (SD WAN / WLAN / Routing / Switching) Configuration and Policy Management experience with Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls IP Network Design, Subnetting, and Implementation Experience Network Troubleshooting and Operational Support Expertise Proficiency in Self-Management, Project Management, and Working With Customers Ability and willingness to travel as required PREFERRED WORKING EXPERIENCE Cisco Client Knowledge and Support Z-Scaler ZPA Knowledge and Support IPSec Tunnel Configuration and Management Local LAN VRF Design and Support Industry Leading Network Management and Monitoring Tools Voice Over IP Knowledge and Support Deploying and Supporting Cloud Based PBX's (RingCentral, 8x8, Teams Telephony, Skype for Business) Coordination with Corporate Security Teams ISP Vendor Engagement and Management J-18808-Ljbffr
