Accrued Sick Leave.Responsibilities:Assist clients with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support and incontinence careAssist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulationMonitor and document vital signs; report any changes to the RN or supervisorOffer medication remindersMaintain accurate and timely documentation of care providedFollow customized Care PlansRequirements:Active CNA certification in MarylandPrevious home care experience preferredCPR and First Aid certification (CPR with BLS preferred)Negative PPD result with the last year OR Clear Chest X-Ray within the last 5 yearsHealth Physical or work release from physician within the last 2 yearsMust be able to pass a drug screeningMust have a clear background (no disqualifying criminal history such as convictions for violence, theft, or abuse)Compensation: $16.25 - $18.50 per hourProfessional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers.
