Lead Cable Technician - Scranton, PALocation: Scranton, PA | Travel RequiredPay: $20-$33/hr + OTTravel: Per Diem + Mileage + Drive TimePositionAnistar is seeking an experienced Lead Cable Technician to lead and perform structured cabling installations on commercial projects. This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting voice, data, fiber, and security/access control systems.Travel is required. Overtime is available, and travel expenses are covered.What You'll DoLead cable installation crews and work independently in the fieldPull, route, install, terminate, test, and label structured cablingInstall and terminate copper and fiberInstall racks, IDF/MDF equipment, and cable support systemsPerform Corning UniCam and/or Panduit OptiCam terminationsTroubleshoot network and POS systemsWork from lifts as neededMaintain quality, safety, and production standardsWhat We're Looking For2+ years of experience leading commercial voice/data installationsStrong experience with both fiber and copperExperience with structured cabling installation and terminationCorning UniCam or Panduit OptiCam experienceIDF/MDF and rack installation experience preferredFiber termination and testing experience preferredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, or NEC standardsBasic telecom hand tools requiredTwo professional references requiredMust be willing to use your own vehicle for travelTravel BenefitsDaily per diemMileage reimbursementDrive time paidOvertime availableExtensive travel opportunitiesAbout UsAt Anistar Technologies, we connect skilled professionals with respected companies across the country.
