Someone who knows what’s trending before it trends, understands how to tell a story through content, and is excited to build something – not just manage it.This role is about owning our day-to-day presence across social – what we post, when we post, and how it all comes together to build energy around the brand. You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing to connect product launches, athlete stories, and brand moments to build community, create momentum, and turn followers into loyal customers.This is a hands-on role. You won’t just plan the content, you’ll help make it happen.ResponsibilitiesSocial Strategy & PlanningMake sure we’re showing up consistently, creatively, and on-brandDevelop and execute a cohesive social media strategy aligned with brand and business goalsCollaborate with the Director of Marketing to align social content with product launches, campaigns, and brand storytellingIdentify opportunities to create cultural relevance and drive organic growthContent Calendar & ExecutionCreate and manage a social calendar that ties together product drops, campaigns, and brand storytellingKeep things organized but stay flexible enough to jump on opportunities in real timeEnsure consistent posting cadence and high-quality executionContent DevelopmentWork with internal and external creatives, athletes, and jortbags to produce contentJump in yourself when needed. Whether that’s writing captions, editing clips, or pulling together a quick postKeep the bar high but move fastCommunity EngagementManage DMs and comments to create a personalized, responsive brand experienceActively engage with the community to build loyalty and deepen relationshipsIdentify and elevate user-generated content and brand advocatesPerformance & OptimizationTrack, analyze, and report on social media performance metricsTranslate insights into actionable recommendations to improve engagement and growthContinuously test, learn, and iterate on content strategyExperience & Skills3–5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand (preferably in apparel, lifestyle, or consumer goods)Strong instincts for content –what grabs attention and what falls flatDeep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and internet cultureOrganized enough to run a calendar, but flexible enough to pivot when necessaryWilling to get your hands dirty and figure things outStrong communication skills and a deep understanding of brand voicePassion for storytelling, community building, and brand buildingExperience working with athletes, creators, or ambassadorsTo apply, email jobs@ripton.co with your resume, some words about yourself, and the subject header "Social Media and Content Manager"
