The Foreman performs landscape maintenance, installations, turf applications, irrigation, snow removal, holiday installation and take-down.Landscaping Foreman Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupervise 1-6 landscape crew membersPrepare equipment and tools for the day’s workClock in and clock out employeesSafely transport crew to worksitesInstruct crew on site and delegate responsibilitiesProvide on the job training; coach employees on performance and provide constructive feedbackOversee landscape maintenance for commercial properties; ensure daily projects are completed on time through planning and monitoring work of crewComplete lawn maintenance, installations, edging, mulching, planting, turf applications, irrigation, snow removal, holiday installation & take-downInspect jobs for quality and completionSolve problems; elevate concerns as appropriate to management in a timely mannerMaintain and promote a safe workplace by following and enforcing all safety guidelinesRequirementsLandscaping Foreman Requirements3 years of formal landscape and snow removal experienceHigh School Diploma or GED preferredValid Driver's License and a clean driving record requiredAbility to safely operate a variety of large vehicles and landscaping equipment with precision and skillSufficient manual dexterity to use hand and power toolsAbility to ascend and descend ladders, stand for long periods of time, and traverse uneven surfacesMust be able to move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds frequently and move weights of up to 100 pounds occasionallyAbility to train, coach and supervise othersAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize workStrong verbal communication skillsExcellent attendance and reliabilityAttention to detail, problem solving ability, and initiative in performing and completing tasksWillingness to attend trainings and acquire all certifications required for the positionGeneral Statement: The nature and scope of this position is not solely limited to the duties and responsibilities listed above.
