This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, retail sales, and food safety within a dynamic food service setting. Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work at least every-other Saturday (closed on Sunday). Duties Packaging of bakery items. Slicing breads. Operate cash registers. Assist customers with selections, answer questions about bakery products, and promote upselling of specialty items to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area, including food handling, sanitation practices, and proper storage of ingredients Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the bakery section is visually appealing and well-stocked throughout the shift Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Experience Previous experience with food preparation and/or customer service is preferred Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in retail or food industry settings Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Experience working in grocery stores or retail environments involving serving and cashiering duties is beneficial Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our bakery's success!
