Job Title: Sr Experience Analyst/Product Owner Location: Vienna, VA Contractor Work Model: Hybrid, onsite 3 days a week Pay rate:  open to both W2 and 1099 Position:  multiyear contractWe are looking for folks with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience with at least 3 years as a Product Owner and hands on experience with Pega.The Senior Experience Analyst acts as a Product Owner, responsible for driving product strategy, managing the backlog, and ensuring the successful delivery of features that meet business and customer needs. This role bridges business stakeholders, development teams, and leadership, translating requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. It plays a key role in Agile delivery, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and ensuring high-quality, timely product releases while continuously improving team velocity and product value.The Product Owner oversees new product and feature enhancements, planning and directing activities to ensure the timely development and delivery of reliable and efficient solutions to business requirements, and developing acceptance criteria to validate that the resulting product meets customer requirements.RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate dependencies with other POs and work across teams to define and implement improvement stories that will increase the velocity and qualityWork with other POs and leadership to help shape the product vision and enumerate high-level prioritiesAct as liaison between stakeholders and the teamDrive product delivery through keen understanding of the customer, mission, and product requirementsDevelop the team roadmap and support the team as needed to deliver on commitmentsCommunicate with other Product Owners and Scrum Masters, program leadership, customers, and development teamsWork in Agile methodology, write product requirements/Epics/user stories in ADO, and ensure story Readiness and Acceptance CriteriaWorking with UX/UI and getting designs updated for upcoming sprintsManage product backlog – Manage, adjust for risk, and prioritize product backlog with the focus on execution for at-least 2 sprintsBacklog refinement – Lead backlog refinement to deconstruct, refine and estimate stories, add acceptance criteria and enable long range technical planningBe available for the team in all Scrum ceremonies meetings including standups, retrospectives, and demosLead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalitiesPartners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid deliveryDrives value to the business by building, managing, and maintaining Product Backlog(s)Builds a Product Backlog and reviews it with business owners to determine business value and to assign priorityProvide coaching to team members who are new to Scrum and Agile practicesAct as a liaison between the team and management as well as a liaison between the team and the customer/end usersQUALIFCATIONS:Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management or related fields or the equivalent combination of education, training, or experience3+ years of experience functioning in a fast-paced Product OwnerScrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner Product Manager (POPM) or equivalent PO certificationStrong leadership experience with focus in project management and schedulingDemonstrated experience implementing and executing Agile principles with strong digital and technical skillsAgile software development lifecycle knowledgeDesired – Experience in software development using .Net and modern web frameworksDesired– Experience with software development and/or QA testingHighly desired – Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)Highly desired – Experience in mortgage industryHighly desired – 3+ year experience working with PegaDesired– Pega Business Architect Certification (PCBA) System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
