Associate Research Scientist
We are seeking a scientist with a strong interest in immunology to join our early translational group in Lawrenceville, NJ. Our purpose is to support programs as they transition from discovery to a FIH study. The qualified candidate will process human samples, maintain the laboratory’s biobank (including sample storage and retrieval), and perform a range of experimental procedures under the guidance of senior scientists. The type of experiment will vary, depending on program needs.Experimental techniques could include, but are not limited to, the following:•Processing human tissue and blood•Cell-based assays•Flow cytometry•ELISAs/MSD assays•RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis•Gene expression array cardsRequirements:•Candidate should have a B.S or M.S in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or a related field with at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in an industry setting.•Hands-on experience with processing human blood for PBMCs•Ensure accurate recording of data into an electronic laboratory notebook.•The ideal candidate would be able to work independently, demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work as a member of a large cross-functional team.•Familiarity with programming languages and bioinformatics is desirable but not necessary.
