Team members join a performance-driven, client-focused culture that emphasizes integrity, collaboration, and professional growth.Role Description The Vendor Sales Manager role is a full-time remote position responsible for developing and managing relationships with equipment vendors, manufacturers, and distributors to drive financing volume. This role focuses on prospecting new vendor partners, onboarding them to Ascentium Capital programs, and implementing sales strategies that support the vendors’ growth objectives. The Vendor Sales Manager will conduct regular outreach via phone, video meetings, email, and occasional onsite visits to educate vendor partners on financing options and sales tools. Day-to-day activities include building pipelines, preparing proposals, negotiating program terms within guidelines, and coordinating with internal credit, operations, and marketing teams to ensure a smooth experience for vendor partners and their customers. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, forecasting opportunities, and providing feedback on market trends, competitive offerings, and program enhancements to leadership.Qualifications Experience in B2B sales, preferably in equipment finance, commercial lending, vendor program management, or financial services.Proven ability to prospect, develop, and manage vendor or channel partner relationships to achieve sales targets.Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with the ability to communicate financing solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.Comfort with remote selling tools, CRM systems, and basic productivity software (e.g., CRM platforms, Microsoft Office or similar).Solid understanding of credit principles, deal structures, or leasing/financing products, or willingness to learn quickly.Excellent organizational and time management capabilities, including managing a pipeline and prioritizing multiple vendor accounts.Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Prior experience working with equipment vendors, manufacturers, or distributors in targeted industries is a plus.Commitment to ethical business practices, customer focus, and continuous professional development.
