Principal Engineer

F/T Principal Engineer to develop system BIOS, firmware & drivers for processors/microcontrollers, work w/ system & software architects on feature definitions, requirements and behavior specifications, debug systemic issues, hardware, & software problems, identify the root cause of reported issues & provide workarounds & solutions. Bach degree in compsci, electrical/electronic engr, comp engr or related engr field & 5 yrs of exp in software development project mgmt req. Exp must have been progressive & have included UEFI firmware development; C, C++, Python design & coding skills; UEFI & PI specifications & concepts; PC/Server architecture/Platforms; developing & debugging UEFI firmware for platform subsystems such as CPU, PCIe, CXL, Memory, CPU, ACPI, IPMI/Redfish, RAS, Security, SMM/MM; Intel TXT, Boot Guard, Intel PFR; debuggers for problem solving.
