If you take pride in providing outstanding service while empowering others to succeed, we’d love to connect with you!At Kirby Risk Electrical Supply, our Customer Service Supervisors shape the frontline customer experience through leadership, teamwork, and commitment to customer service excellence.What You’ll Do As a Customer Service SupervisorLead with impact by strengthening collaboration, refining processes, and enhancing the customer experience.You’llFoster an environment of collaboration and team spirit, promoting engagement, communication, and collective accountability among employeesMonitor branch scheduling to ensure adequate staffing for daily operationsSelect, train, mentor, coach, and conduct performance reviews to promote employee developmentGuide new hire onboarding, assimilation into the company and branch cultureProactively resolve customer issues to maintain customer satisfaction, retention, and positive long-term relationshipsManage all branch operations including Sales Support, Warehouse, Counter, Inside Sales, and Delivery Drivers to maintain continuity and operational effectivenessGuarantee the customer counter experience by following planogram standards and maintaining displays, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional customer-facing environmentWhat Makes You a Great FitHigh School Diploma/GED or 2+ years relevant College Coursework5+ years of relevant work experience in wholesale industry3+ years of strong interpersonal leadership and customer contact skillsKnowledge of electrical products and their applicationsStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsCommitted to best practices for leadership competencies, people development, and learningDetail-oriented with excellent organizational abilitiesAbility to lead by example, promote morale, goal setting and demonstrate teamworkComputer skills and aptitude; Microsoft OfficeWhat To Expect In This RoleAbility to push, pull, carry, lift up to 50 lbs.Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of timeBend, stoop, twist, reach, pinch, grab, and shift positions frequentlyTalk or hear both in person and by telephoneAbility to adjust focus, close vision, discern parts numbers, and signageForklift experience a plusOccasional travel requiredSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with overtime as neededWhy Kirby Risk?Founded in 1926, Kirby Risk is a trusted leader in electrical supply, manufacturing, and mechanical solutions.
