Summary
Reporting to the Owner/Founder, The Dispatch Logistics Coordinator will support all aspects of
the transportation of outbound and inbound orders / loads. This person will work closely and
communicate with the logistics, sales, inside sales, shipping/receiving, QA departments and
outside carriers. This position requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
industry, be positive, enthusiastic, self-motivated, take initiative, and have a team player
attitude. This position will operate from the scale office, and is responsible for the gross/tare
weighing of all trucks carrying feedstock materials entering CT Polymers properties. The
Dispatch Logistics Coordinator will be required to structure and organize copious amounts of
paperwork, which must be accurate for use by other functional disciplines within the company.

Job Duties
Negotiate rates directly with vendors and keep in constant communication with drivers to
ensure timely acceptance of offered loads.
Handles dispatch with contractors, company drivers and partner carriers.to appropriate
locations per customer/CT request in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Handle all Weigh Station duties for inbound and outbound freight
Using freight booking platforms and load boards to book freight.
Work closely with logistics team, production, and warehouse to arrange loading times
with carriers ensuring trucks are loaded on time.
Establish relationships with drivers and vendors.
Enter orders into company calendar/scheduling program
Proactively track shipments and alert accounting/managers/vendors for anticipated
scheduling delays.
Maintain strong relationship and communication with drivers
Serve as a reliable point of contact to balance drivers health and safety with customer
requirements.
Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to maintain cost-effectiveness as a
company.
Proficient in Computer Technology, ability to learn company-specific programs, and
access GPS monitoring programs.
Ensure delivery appointments are booked per customers’ requirements.
Ensure trucks are onsite at customer locations on time for delivery appointments and are
delivered with clear bills.
Source & obtain delivery documents once trucks have delivered to verify accuracy of
shipment and forward to appropriate department.
Adheres to all domestic and international shipping regulations and compliance.
Follows all ISO procedures and Policies related to Logistics.
Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
Fundamental knowledge of transportation, routing, and geography in US
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Drive.
Ability to professionally communicate with customers, OTR drivers, internal
logistics/CSR, vendors, and external dispatchers.
Ability to work both individually and as a part of a team.
Fluent in both verbal and written English.
