We are seeking a proactive, motivated, and creative Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing department. The selected candidate will support content creation and marketing initiatives across multiple platforms while gaining exposure to content strategy, audience targeting, and brand messaging. This role is ideal for a student who is eager to grow professionally in marketing and communications and passionate about storytelling, strategic communication, and digital marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesConcept, develop, and execute creative marketing ideasWrite and edit digital and print content (website, social media, video, brochures, etc.)Translate technical information into clear, engaging, and digestible contentContribute fresh ideas for campaigns, messaging, and visual storytellingCollaborate with team members while also managing independent projectsSupport marketing efforts aimed at promoting capabilities and services to core audiencesParticipate in team discussions and actively contribute marketing insightsRequired QualificationsMust be enrolled at Utah State University and pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, English, Media, Communications, or a related fieldMust be available to work 15-20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summerStrong background and demonstrated experience in writing, grammar, and editingAbility to think strategically and creativelyBasic experience in multi-platform content creationProficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPointAbility to create content with and without AI toolsStrong organizational and time management skillsSelf-motivated, responsive, and eager to learnMust be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. personPreferred QualificationsProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteBasic design knowledge and a strong visual eyeStudent Scholar ProgramSDL provides unique opportunities for student employees to develop real-world experience and knowledge beyond the classroom through our Student Scholar Program.
