Together, we strive to enhance the health and well-being of those we serve and to be a trusted partner in their journey to better health.Position Overview:This position is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve/enhance work environment issues through learning and development, communications, and teambuilding to educate and engage employees; guiding business leaders on effective solutions for addressing corrective action and conflict resolution; leading the development and administration of HR policies, procedures, and tools to effectively support business leaders to promote positive employee relations.Specifics:-Position: Human Resources Generalist-Department: Human Resources-Location: Gateway Regional Medical Center 2100 Madison Ave. Granite City, IL 62040-Position Status: Full-timeEducation Qualifications:Required: Associates in human resource, Business, or related work experiencePreferred: Bachelor's degree in human resource, Business, or related fieldResponsibilities:Ensures compliance with all Human Resource policies and procedures.Demonstrated ability to identify needs, make recommendations, and implement solutions to improve and enhance the work environment.Assists with identifying & administering rewards and recognition strategies.Participates in the analysis and preparation of the annual employee survey action plan.Assists in providing benefits information to new & current employees regarding available benefits & enrollment & assists with benefits administration.Ensures that Personnel Files are accurately & effectively maintained.Experience Qualifications:Minimum of 4 years of experience in a human resource generalist or equivalent position.
