A minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in an agency, the pharmaceutical industry, or a related scientific or medical writing position in oncology, hematology, or rare diseases. Proven ability to work independently. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency with Veeva preferred.SummaryA Senior Medical Writer (SMW) is responsible for content development, proactively communicating with clients, and driving the strategic direction of the product. S/he will have detailed knowledge of product, competitive landscape, key literature, and evolving science in the field specific to that product and will stay abreast on current literature, and the competitive landscape. The SMW will collaborate closely as a strategic partner with Project Management and Client Services to establish project plans, identify, and anticipate issues that could come up that may affect timelines while meeting agency standards. The SMW will be responsible for research and content support of business development goals and is expected to support the organic growth of the account(s) they are assigned. All MSS roles directly support clients through content generation and strategy.
