Position Overview Seeking a Senior UI/UX Developer to lead front-end development initiatives for a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client, bringing 10+ years of experience in Angular-based application design and implementation. You'll direct a team of front-end developers while maintaining hands-on involvement in building complex user interfaces using Angular 12+, NgRx, and modern web technologies. This role requires expertise in both technical leadership, including code reviews and developer mentoring, and deep proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Spring Boot integration. As an active Agile team member, you'll collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, responsive solutions that meet demanding client requirements. The ideal candidate combines advanced UI/UX development skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and drive continuous improvement across the development lifecycle. Work Location In-office at Ashburn, VA, 5 days/week for the first year then 2 days/week thereafter. Clearance Client requires US citizenship, the ability to obtain and hold a public trust position, and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation. Candidates with existing Active CBP BI, DoD Top Secret, or another DHS component clearance will be prioritized. Responsibilities Lead a team of front-end developers in designing, developing, and maintaining complex user-interface applications using Angular framework. Support hands on development of user-interface applications using Angular framework. Support code reviews and mentoring for junior developers. Collaborate with the Product Owner, system engineers, developers, testers, and other stakeholders on the team.
