Shifts: 2nd shift starts 2:15PM or 3rd shift starts 10:45PM shifts run for 8hrs with some overtime availableResume: Required highlighting past experience and skills evaluation will be conductedBasic Job Functions:This position is responsible for ensuring that products requiring secondary fabrication processes meet the quality requirements provided, are delivered on time, while following all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for themselves and others.Education and Experience:Education: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: Minimum of 2yrs hands onRequired Skills/Competencies:Must be proficient with using a tape measure to within 1/16 .Ability to use basic measuring and inspection tools such as tape measures, steel-rules, calipers, attribute gauges, gauge blocks and pins, go/no go type gauges, etc.Ability to lift a minimum of 30 poundsAbility to read and comprehend production documents and simple mechanical drawings is a plus.Familiarity with the company's quality system and applicable procedures, and the company's work and safety rules and procedures, with training.Ability to initiate and maintain various production reports and records, with training.Ability to interact positively with supervisory personnel and coworkers.Ability to operate a lift-truck (forklift) (optional with appropriate training).Essential ResponsibilitiesConducts various production processes involving the fabrication and/or assembly of the Company's products.Performs job assignment duties in accordance with applicable quality and manufacturing procedures, work instructions (verbal or written), good manufacturing practices and safety procedures.Sets up and/or adjusts production equipment as required by the job assignment.Conducts self-inspection of work-output in accordance with work instructions (verbal and written) and inspection plans.Fills out and maintains production and inspection records in accordance with job and procedural requirements.Determines production requirements from production orders, drawings, written specifications and similar documents.Counts, wraps, packages, and/or labels in-process and finished product in accordance with work instructions (verbal and written) and procedural requirements.Transfer stock and finished product either manually or by means of manually operated stock handling equipment such as handcarts and pallet jacks.Performs such other duties as may be assigned by management or immediate supervisor.Operates small hand and power tools (i.e., screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, powered hand-drills, routers, rivet guns, etc.) as well as powered machinery such ae drill-presses, pneumatic and hydraulic punches, and other such equipment.Estimated Salary Range: $43680.00 - $45760.00Physical Requirements:Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shiftWill climb stairs on an occasional basisWill lift, push, or pull up to 27 pounds on an occasional basisRequired to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basisMust be able to comply with all safety standards and proceduresMay reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basisMay stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basisAbility to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)Potential candidates will meet the education and experience requirements provided on the above job description and excel in completing the listed responsibilities for this role.
