Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.Position SummaryDesigns, develops, and implements digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of myPBM Clinical projects.This role requires someone to work a hybrid (remote + office) schedule from one of our technical offices in either Buffalo Grove, IL or Farmer's Branch, TX**What You Will DoLeverage Java and Angular programming expertise to design and deliver efficient, reliable digital solutions.Write code, develop software components, and implement functionalities according to project requirements.Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to design and define the technical architecture and infrastructure required for the digital solutions.Contribute to technical discussions, proposes design patterns, and makes architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.Test own code and participate in the overall quality assurance process.Write and execute unit tests, conduct code reviews, debug, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability and stability of digital solutions.Participate in agile or other development methodologies, attends meetings, and contributes to project planning and progress tracking.Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, user guides, and other relevant documentation.Seek opportunities for professional development and growth, such as attending conferences, taking online courses, or participating in relevant training programs.Required Qualifications2-5 years of software development experience with specific development experience in Back End technologies such as Java and Spring Boot2+ years working with APIs (GraphQL and REST) in microservices architectures2+ years hands-on experience with Azure2+ years hands-on experience with Angular2+ years of experience with databases (Oracle)2+ years’ experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)Preferred QualificationsExperience working with pub/sub tools like Kafka or similarHands-on experience with Azure KubernetesFamiliarity with Kubernetes conceptsStrong understanding of microservice best practices and distributed systemsHealthcare domain experience preferredEducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)Anticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe Typical Pay Range For This Role Is$72,100.00 - $158,620.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
