Interaction Designer - AI Systems & Voice Assistants | ContractShape the future of AI-powered user experiences for a global consumer electronics leader by designing intuitive, multi-device interfaces that bring intelligent voice assistance to smartphones, wearables, TVs, and smart home ecosystems.About the Role: We're seeking a talented Interaction Designer specializing in AI systems to join our client's Advanced Intelligence Lab in the consumer electronics and technology sector. This contract role offers the opportunity to design next-generation voice assistant experiences, create high-fidelity AI interfaces across multiple device categories, and contribute to building unified AI experiences that delight millions of users globally.Key Responsibilities:Drive end-to-end UI and interaction design execution producing high-fidelity, production-ready designs for AI-powered features across mobile and multi-device experiencesBuild interactive prototypes demonstrating flows, states, transitions, and edge cases for rapid iteration and cross-functional alignmentDesign for real AI system behavior including loading states, errors, ambiguity, partial results, and asynchronous interactionsTranslate product requirements into thoughtful interaction flows, patterns, and refined user interfacesWork within and extend design systems ensuring consistency and scalability across device surfaces (mobile, wearables, TVs, smart home)Design intuitive voice assistant interfaces that serve as primary entry points across device ecosystemCollaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, NLU teams, and international design partnersCreate visual and interaction prototypes that bring bold AI-assisted service concepts to lifeAccount for multi-dimensional user experiences across different product domains and categoriesCommunicate design decisions with clarity, focusing on interaction rationale and technical tradeoffsRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's in Visual Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years experience in visual or interaction design within product or UX teamsStrong design portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and attention to detailExperience contributing to and working within design systemsUser-centered design expertise with strong understanding of user behaviors and interaction patternsProven ability to design high-quality interfaces with attention to hierarchy, layout, and consistencyExperience designing for dynamic AI states (loading, ambiguity, errors, multi-step interactions)Rapid prototyping skills to test ideas and refine solutions based on feedbackFamiliarity with human-computer interaction principles and user research integrationStrong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional partnershipPreferred Qualifications:Expertise in Figma or similar design and prototyping toolsExperience designing for AI-powered products, voice assistants, or conversational interfacesFamiliarity incorporating AI tools into design workflowsExperience with multi-device ecosystems and IoT interfacesKnowledge of voice UI design patterns and NLU systemsContract Details: Contract Position | Consumer Electronics & AI Technology | Reports to Design LeadershipNext Steps: Submit your portfolio and resume highlighting your interaction design experience and AI systems work.#InteractionDesign #AIDesign #UXDesign #VoiceUI #ProductDesign #Figma #AIAssistant #DesignSystems #ContractWork #TechJobs
