You will provide architectural direction across Microsoft Azure, .NET Core, Angular, APIs, microservices, application security, DevOps, monitoring, and enterprise integration.What You’ll DoLead the architecture and technical delivery of cloud-native enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure.Translate business and technical requirements into scalable application architectures and actionable development plans.Establish architectural standards for high availability, scalability, reliability, security, and low-latency performance.Provide hands-on development leadership across .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and TypeScript.Design and guide the implementation of REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integrations.Lead technical decisions across Azure platform services, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment.Implement secure identity and access patterns using Azure AD B2C or Microsoft Entra External ID, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, and MFA.Establish application monitoring, diagnostics, and performance visibility using Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and Adobe Analytics.Support application architecture within utility technology or outage management environments.Provide technical guidance while partnering with architecture, engineering, and business stakeholders.Required QualificationsSenior-level experience as a Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Application Architect, or Enterprise Architect.Strong enterprise application architecture experience using Microsoft Azure.Hands-on development experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and TypeScript.Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, event-driven solutions, and cloud-native applications.Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.Knowledge of modern authentication and identity technologies, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, MFA, and Azure AD B2C or Microsoft Entra External ID.Experience designing highly available, scalable, secure, and low-latency systems.Ability to provide architectural leadership while remaining actively engaged in technical delivery.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting utility technology, outage management, OMS, GIS, or related enterprise environments.Experience with Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and Adobe Analytics.Engagement DetailsEmployment Type: 1099 contract through ElevationHRWork Arrangement: HybridDuration: 12-month contract-to-hireLocation: Houston, TexasCompensation: $100–$105 per hourLocal candidates are preferred.
