Process Manager / Process Engineer – Stainless StructuralsStainless Structurals is hiring a Process Manager / Process Engineer to lead day-to-day quality/process operations. You'll report to our Chief Quality Officer.TASKS and RESPONSABILITY:• Plan and supervise daily NDT (VT, PT, MT, UT, macro-etch) and approve NDT reports• Lead in-process and final QC inspection across laser cutting, laser welding, pressing, grinding, straightening and blasting• Verify weld quality against qualified WPS/WQTR records and codes such as AWS D1.6 and ASTM A1069• Control order release: confirm reports, MTRs, heat traceability and C of C before anything ships• Own quality records, document control and calibration• Drive nonconformance disposition and root-cause corrective action• Support ISO 9001 / AS9100 internal audits and supplier quality• Supervise, train and coach NDT technicians and QC inspectorsBACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:• technical degree• 5+ years in quality, inspection or production in the welding field• 2+ years supervising inspectors or technicians• Working knowledge of welding codes (AWS D1.1/D1.6, ASME IX) and WPS/PQR/WQTR• Ability to read drawings, GD&T and material test reports• Experience with NCRs, CAPA and document control in an ISO 9001 environmentHighly valued• ASNT NDT Level II or III (VT, PT, MT, UT) – Level III strongly preferred• AWS CWI or SCWI• Laser beam welding, stainless metallurgy or AS9100 experience• ASQ certification (CQA, CQE, CMQ/OE)Location: Conroe, TX - full timeInterested?
