#W2 RoleIAM Java DeveloperLocation: Malvern, PA (or Plano, TX)Role OverviewThis position supports a major transition effort as the organization moves away from its existing identity platform and migrates remaining vendors into **PingFederate**. While some team members already have experience with PingFederate, an additional developer is needed to assist with onboarding, migration, and ongoing support throughout the transition and warranty period.Although classified as a full stack developer role, the position is **broader than traditional application development**, requiring strong infrastructure, DevOps, and identity management capabilities.Position FocusThe ideal candidate will operate across the full development and infrastructure lifecycle, working with: **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** **CI/CD pipelines** **AWS infrastructure & EKS** **Deployment automation** **Security & identity management** **Infrastructure and policy as code** **Java & Python** **SSO / authentication (inbound & outbound)** **PingFederate**The **most critical requirement** is strong knowledge of **identity management and security**. Direct PingFederate experience is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has solid experience in IAM, security, DevOps, or similar domains.Ideal Candidate Profile**We are seeking someone who is comfortable building and deploying solutions end to end: Can build the application Can create the infrastructure Can develop CI/CD pipelines Can deploy into production Can support the solution without relying heavily on other teamsMany full stack developers lack exposure to production infrastructure and deployment processes. This role requires someone who understands **how code reaches production** and can manage that process independently.A candidate with strong **Java, Python, AWS**, and IAM experience-even without PingFederate-could be an excellent fit. PingFederate can be taught; **fundamental DevOps, security, and infrastructure skills cannot**.Candidates with backgrounds in **security, identity management, DevOps, or cloud engineering** are especially attractive.Experience Level Targeting **5+ years** of relevant experience Level 3 / intermediate level resource (typically 5 7 years) Strong communication skills High initiative and self motivation Ability to operate proactively in a fast moving environment
