Pediatric Endocrinology Detroit, MITHE OPPORTUNITY StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Pediatric Endocrinologist to join an expanding division at a nationally ranked freestanding children's hospital in Detroit. The division is growing to meet the endocrine needs of children and adolescents throughout the metro Detroit area you'll join a well-established, team-oriented group with a strong academic mission and robust clinical volume.PRACTICE DETAILS Full-time employed position combining academic and clinical responsibilities Inpatient and outpatient care minimum 6 half-day clinics per week Division team: 5 Pediatric Endocrinologists, 7 diabetes nurse educators, 6 endocrine nurses, 2 dietitians, and a social worker Call schedule shared equitably among division members including weekends and holidays Multidisciplinary collaboration with Neurosurgical, Cardiovascular, General Surgical, Nephrology, Pulmonary, Hematology/Oncology, Immunology, and Gastroenterology teams Faculty appointment available this is the training facility for one of the country's largest pediatric residency programs 228-bed children's hospital ranked among the nation's best by U.S. News & World Report Level I Pediatric Trauma Center (ACS verified) and Pediatric Burn Center (ABA verified)COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive base salary with productivity incentives Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, disability Malpractice coverage with tail protection 401(k) with employer match CME allowance and dedicated conference time Generous PTO Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus availableREQUIREMENTS MD or DO from accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible with fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology Interest in medical education and academics strongly preferred Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtainTHE LOCATION Detroit, MI Detroit is one of America's great comeback stories a city pulsing with reinvention, culture, and affordability that's nearly impossible to find in other major metros.
