SummaryJob Description:Registered Nurse Antepartum- Full Time, NightsStatus: Full TimeShift: Third*Rotating Weekend & Holiday Schedule*About The Unit:Antepartum is a ten-bed unit specializing caring for patients with complications during pregnancy which include pre-eclampsia, preterm labor, hyperemesis, and other medical issues requiring hospitalization. The Antepartum unit is staffed with labor and delivery trained nurses. Nurses in this unit must be willing to float to the Labor and Delivery unit and receive orientation in both antepartum and labor and delivery.Job Summary:Registered nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned to his/her care regardless of age (i.e. infancy to geriatric) and is responsible for the patient's care. The registered nurse promotes positive patient outcomes and the delivery of quality patient care. The registered nurse collaborates with the inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes.
