We are hiring for both CDL and Non-CDL Drivers. to join our team in Ajo, AZ. We currently have training classes that start every week.Location: 1248 N 2nd Ave, Ajo, AZ 85321**$1,000 sign-on bonus for Drivers with a CDL and Passenger Endorsement**Why make the move to MTM Transit:Hourly Rate: $19.50; $20.50 (Must have CDL & Passenger Endorsement)Affordable benefits including Medical, Dental and VisionPaid Training & OvertimePaid Holidays & Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) with Company MatchInternal career growth opportunities What You'll Need:Experience, Education & Certifications:High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalentMust be 21 years of age or olderMust have and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's license - some positions may require a CDL with passenger endorsementNo reckless driving offenses within the past 5 yearsNo DUI or DWI convictionsNo convictions involving moral turpitude within the past 5 yearsPossess valid authorization to work in the United StatesMust be able to pass a DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screeningMust pass criminal background check and investigation & Motor Vehicle Record checkSchedule flexibility: Looking for individuals who are available 7 days a week between the hours of 4:30am - 8:30pm (35-40+ hours per week). Shifts will be assigned after training is completed Skills:Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronic deviceAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityAbility to communicate with others and comprehend instructionsAbility to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedulesAbility to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulationsFamiliarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area What You'll Do: Provide safe and reliable transportationDemonstrate excellent defensive driving skillsProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholdersMust assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicleMust assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocolsEnsure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customerDemonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilitiesComplete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as requiredComplete paperwork as requiredUtilize tablets or electronic devices as requiredMTM Transit is Proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer
