Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. As a Chief Innovation Officer at Toro Science, you will lead the innovation strategy, oversee technology development, and foster a culture of cutting-edge innovation. Responsibilities include identifying and cultivating new technology opportunities, steering product development, leading cross-functional teams, directing strategic planning initiatives, and collaborating with external stakeholders to build impactful ventures. You will take a hands-on approach to driving innovation from concept through commercialization while ensuring that projects remain aligned with the company's objectives. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and business modelsExpertise in Information Technology, with an emphasis on leveraging new tools and platforms for enhanced innovationProficiency in Strategic Planning to develop and execute forward-looking innovation strategiesDemonstrable Project Management skills to coordinate complex, multi-phase technology development initiativesTeam Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage multi-disciplinary teamsProven track record in commercializing disruptive technologies for different industriesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with partners, stakeholders, and team membersExperience working in venture creation, startup ecosystems, or innovation-driven environments is highly desirable
