Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for Software Engineer–Developers (Associate / Experienced / Senior) to be part of the Satellite Space Mission Systems team located in El Segundo, CA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Services (BDS) business organization.The selected candidate will support the development of mission software written in Java, C++, Python, ReactJS. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Bachelor’s Degree2+ years of experience in software development2+ years of experience with software integration and end-to-end testing methodologies2+ years of experience with C/C++ coding or java/python script developmentExperience working on a software development project that follows Agile and Scrum methodologiesExperience collaborating across multi-discipline engineering teamAbility to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (Interim prestart, final post start) for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. CitizenshipPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Level 3/Experienced: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceLevel 4/Senior: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Active Secret clearance or higherExperience with full software development lifecycle that includes requirements analysis through formal qualificationKnowledge of software architecture and design methodologies. Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics and constraintsKnowledge of software development processes in compliance with established internal and industry standards, guidelines, and best practices in the development, testing, and deployment of softwareKnowledge of implementation, validation, and verification processes, practices, and guidelines to ensure software development quality, performance, and safetyTravel: less than 10%Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
