Salary: $198,000–$225,000+ up to 10% bonus
Hybrid: Onsite every Tuesday
Relocation: Up to $15,000+ sign-on bonus
About the Role
We are seeking an Enterprise Data Director to lead and evolve a growing enterprise data organization within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role will play a critical part in shaping the organization's data strategy, architecture, and analytics platform , with a strong focus on Epic reporting systems and modern cloud technologies .
This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role at a pivotal time, helping drive a major transition to Epic Cogito Cloud (Microsoft Fabric) and influencing enterprise-wide data initiatives.
What You'll Do
Lead and oversee the Epic reporting and enterprise data warehouse ecosystem (Clarity, Caboodle, and beyond)
Drive the transition to Epic Cogito Cloud (Microsoft Fabric) and build a strategic execution roadmap
Partner with IT, business leaders, and external partners to align data strategy with organizational goals
Optimize team structure, processes, and delivery to improve efficiency and scalability
Provide technical and strategic leadership across data architecture, data engineering, and analytics
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership
Support enterprise-wide adoption of modern data platforms for both Epic and non-Epic data sources
Team Overview
Reports into senior IT leadership
Oversees a team of ~20–22 total resources
Direct reports include
Manager of Epic Reporting/Data Team (5 team members)
What We're Looking For
Strong background in data architecture and enterprise data platforms
Hands-on experience with Epic data ecosystem (Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito)
Proven ability to lead or support data warehouse and analytics environments
Experience working with modern cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, etc.)
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
Leadership experience (Director or high-performing Manager ready to step up)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading or supporting Epic Cogito Cloud / Microsoft Fabric transitions
Background in healthcare or health system environments
Experience driving enterprise data strategy and transformation initiatives
