Stamping Press Industrial Maintenance Tech
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a diverse skill set, including experience with programmable logic controllers, welding, and electrical systems.
A combination of preventative and reactive tasks for both the stamping presses and dies, covering cleaning, lubrication, component inspection (wear parts, fasteners, electrical systems), sensor checks, and performance monitoring. Key activities include regular lubrication, tightening loose parts, and scheduling inspections and servicing to prevent breakdowns and maintain product quality.
Stamping Press Maintenance
Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean working environment by regularly removing debris, dust, and excess material from the press and its moving parts to prevent friction and wear.
Lubrication:
Ensure proper lubrication by following the manufacturer's guidelines for the correct lubricant and application to all necessary parts.
Fastener Check:
Regularly inspect and tighten all nuts and bolts to prevent parts from shifting due to vibrations, which can cause misalignment and damage.
Electrical Systems:
Check electrical circuits, motors, solenoids, safety valves, and control panel components for wear or damage to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Hydraulic Systems:
Maintain hydraulic system components such as fluid temperature, fittings, piping, seals, and pumps.
Brake and Clutch:
Inspect and ensure the proper function of the brake, clutch, and safety systems.
Monitor Performance:
Continuously monitor press performance, paying attention to unusual sounds, vibrations, and variations in product quality.
Hours Monday through Thursdy 5:30am to 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
